Blinders Literary Journal
There are presently no open calls for submissions.
Currently, Blinders Literary Journal accepts submissions from January 15th to April 15th and again from August 15th to November 15th.
Please never include a cover letter or your name in your submission document, as this would expose your identity to us while we consider your manuscript. Please also refrain from including your name in the title of your submission or in the name of the file you submit. If we find any identifying information as we read, we will have to reject your submission automatically.
Blinders Journal does accept simultaneous submissions. In the event that the work is accepted for publication elsewhere, please inform us. We ask that you please wait until you hear back from us before submitting new work for consideration.
Only previously unpublished works will be considered for publication. Blinders Literary Journal requests first North American serial rights upon acceptance; after publication, rights revert back to the author. We will publish your work in a digital environment that presents it in the best possible light. We will offer free Kindle and Nook versions on our website, but we will also list the journal in the corresponding Kindle and Nook markets for 99 cents (or the lowest allowed price to list there). In this way, we hope to gain a larger readership.
We will do our best to respond within three months but, in some cases, this period may be longer. If you have not received a response from us within ninety days, feel free to send an e-mail inquiry to us.
